The County of San Diego is committed to providing opportunities for our employees to feel valued, engaged and trusted. As a result, the County of San Diego’s Department of Human Resources (DHR) implemented the reengineered Priority Transfer Program in 2015, designed to provide opportunities for employees injured on the job and who have permanent work restrictions to be given priority placement opportunities for vacant positions where they can continue employment with the County while adhering to their work restrictions.
