The Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) installed the Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBBs) in DPSS offices to provide staff equal access to information that is typically communicated by conventional means, such as email, printed memorandums, or posters. The EBBs project is unique – a “one-stop,” “at-a-glance” important information delivery method that is readily and continuously available to DPSS employees at common work areas throughout DPSS offices. The high-definition display, combined with vivid colors and the ability to include elements such as program policy updates, news feeds, and online videos, keeps staff’s attention, which allows them to stay continually connected and well-informed.
