On January 26, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced $2 billion in renewal funding for local homelessness assistance programs that have previously received grants. The FY 2018 Continuum of Care (CoC) grants will renew support for 5,800 local programs, many of which are county-based, that serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness. These programs serve both those located in shelter programs and as well as those at immediate risk of becoming homeless.
Click here to view a full list of FY 2018 CoC grant recipients. Counties receiving CoC grants for FY 2018 may also apply for renewal for FY 2019 funding. Renewal information is available at this link and counties have until Thursday, March 14, 2019 to complete renewal applications.
