It is the mission of the Johnson County Treasurer’s Department to encourage an entrepreneurial approach to doing business. The Johnson County Treasury Management Program is a direct result of their strategic plan to transform the Motor Vehicle Division by improving service delivery, increasing collaboration, and placing emphasis on cash handling. The Johnson County Motor Vehicle Division collects approximately $125 million in property tax, state registration renewal fees, and sales tax each year.
