The Macomb County Animal Control Agency processes thousands of payments for new and renewal of dog licenses on an annual basis for all County dog owners. To help streamline and improve this process, the Macomb County Information Technology (IT) Department partnered with Oakland County’s IT Department to use its G2G Cloud Solutions E-Commerce System to deliver Online (web) and Point-of-Presence (counter) payment options that included credit cards and electronic checks. This dog licensing service is now more convenient for citizens, and less processing intensive to Agency staff.
