Maricopa County Adult Probation’s Project HOPE (Housing Outreach and Peer Engagement) was developed to assist people on probation in drug court with sober living and peer support. This was accomplished by partnering with Community Bridges Inc (CBI) and Axiom Care to provide peer navigation services and up to 90 days of residence in a sober living facility. The peer navigators provide case management, linkage to benefits, transportation, and assistance with treatment engagement, while Axiom Care provides sober living services. By providing peer recovery support services, housing assistance, and regular drug court services and support, the HOPE program has assisted 174 participants with navigation services and provided recovery housing to 110 participants, resulting in an increase in treatment engagement for drug court participants.
