The County of San Diego’s Employee Wellness Program supports the organization’s strategic initiatives of Building Better Health, Living Safely and Thriving, as outlined in the County of San Diego’s vision, Live Well San Diego. To best support these initiatives, the Employee Wellness Program serves to effectively address and improve the health and well-being of the County of San Diego’s employee workforce of over 17,000 through continued engagement, education and empowerment programs. The Living Well with Diabetes Program is one of many programs developed to support these initiatives.
