Our tax department receives too many forms from the public that need to be scanned in and referenced in our tax software. We designed an automated way for applying checks to the process of receiving the mail sending up a list and boxes of what to scan. Comparing that list to what is returned from our 3rd party vendor. Emailing that information directly to our vendor and allowing a smoother turnaround without monopolizing the Business System Analyst’s time in respect to process breakdown. This led to large time savings and overall efficiency.
