    Seven Years of Stepping Up

Communities across the country are reducing overincarceration of people with mental illnesses as part of the national Stepping Up initiative. Join the initiative’s network for Seven Years of Stepping Up, a Justice Briefing Live event that will highlight counties’ achievements over the past seven years, explore emerging trends in the field and chart a path forward for the movement.

Funded by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance, Stepping Up is a partnership between The Council of State Governments Justice Center, the National Association of Counties, and the American Psychiatric Association Foundation. This virtual event is free and open to the public.

This is an external event hosted by The Council of State Governments Justice Center.
