Leveraging New County Health Rankings Data to Improve Community Health
Unable to attend? Watch the recording here.
The 2023 County Health Rankings focus on civic health, or the opportunities we have to participate and use our voice in shaping our communities. Join this webinar to learn about the 2023 Rankings and the ways counties can leverage these findings to improve community health.
Counties play a key role in public health. County Health Rankings and Roadmaps (CHR&R), a program of the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, provides data and guidance on the factors that influence health. CHR&R’s Kiersten Frobom, a senior evidence analyst and Molly Burdine, a data analyst, will discuss new and updated CHR&R resources, including the National Findings Report, data and evidence-informed solutions. The webinar will also include Katy Smith, the executive director of Greater Good Greenville, to discuss how Greenville County, S.C., is encouraging civic participation and Frances Thomas, Public Health Strategy Supervisor for Waukesha County Public Health, to share how the rankings report has been leveraged to inform their most recent Community Health Assessment and subsequent implementation strategies.
