Leenah Hegazy

Leenah is NACo’s Leadership Programs Manager. She is responsible for developing the association’s leadership training programs, coordinating NACo's digital content, providing administrative support to the department and organization, as well as assisting with county visits. Prior to joining NACo, Leenah helped to foster civil society dialogue on the transatlantic partnership project TRACK-STAR EU. Leenah also interned at the Department of Homeland Security in the Human Rights and Violations War Crime Center as a researcher. She received a Master's in political science with a concentration in EU Policy with a specialization in Economic & Social Policy from James Madison University's Florence, Italy campus.
