    Jail Population Review Teams

    Over the past three decades, the number of people entering local jails has nearly doubled leaving county leaders looking for strategies to reduce jail populations. The use of jail population review teams is one strategy many counties are using to reduce jail populations, address racial and ethnic disparities and lower jail costs.
