About the Program

Category: Children and Youth (Best in Category)

Year: 2009

This program reaches beyond fire departments to tackle the problem of fire-setting youth from many angles. The program attempts to understand and confront the behaviors and attitudes of young people who seem to enjoy setting dangerous fires. The goal of the program is to reduce the number of arson incidents by identifying the perpetrators and making sure that they and their families receive help.
