The Montgomery County Government (MCG) Employee Productivity Solutions (EPS) team partnered with several County Departments to implement business process workflow automation in multiple program areas. EPS leveraged the County’s investment in the Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise office productivity suite to develop innovative workflow solutions, at no or low incremental cost, that have helped to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of County Government operations. By leveraging the Cloud based Office 365 platform, EPS developed reliable, scale-able, sustainable and secure workflow solutions that replace paper-based processes. Further, these applications integrate with the County’s Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Active Directory (AD) to improve data accuracy and system usability for County employee end-users.
