John Wayne Airport, in Orange County, CA, created an awareness communications and outreach campaign designed to restore confidence, assure the public that the Airport is implementing all necessary precautions, and that we look forward to welcoming them back when they are ready or need to fly. The ongoing “Welcome Back” campaign includes a wide variety of tactics and elements, including media releases, roadway banners and Terminal signage, social media messaging, newsletters and blog posts, website alerts, videos, livestream musical performances, and guest experience and promotional outreach targeting travelers and Airport employees, as well as members of the community.
