An address identifies and describes a specific geographic location and can be attached to many types of features, such as building, landmarks, and streets. Miami-Dade County hosts a Master Address Repository System (MARS) where the addresses are maintained and distributed across the County’s enterprise information technology infrastructure. The MARS adheres to United States Postal System data, applications, and web services. The Address Search Application is an internet application that provides end user access to Mars as well as a means to provide feedback to the system.
