About 1,500 people, including volunteers and Water Resources staff from Gwinnett County (GA), have participated in nine watershed cleanup events since October, 2014. They removed 22,680 pounds of trash, letter and debris and 22,900 pounds of invasive plants in addition to planting 420 trees and plants and stenciling 500 storm drains and catch basins.
