The Tech Tuesday program was started in April 2020, in response to the rapid shift to remote work for employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many employees were not comfortable with working remotely and had limited exposure to some of the remote work tools, such as Microsoft Teams, that were quickly becoming standard operating tools. Some were not even frequent computer users and were now needing to quickly learn basic skills. We knew we needed to ""raise all boats"" to ensure a more common level of skills and understanding of these tools.
