Summit Kids Month was designed to bring awareness to the important issues impacting children and their families in Summit County. We identified areas of concern - early childhood education, health and wellness, and infant mortality. We then set about creating a month long series of events and programs that would address these areas. Summit Kids Month started with a focus on kindergarten readiness information. The second week dealt with a variety of health and wellness issues. Week three featured our fourth annual Summit for Kids expo, and we closed out the month by focusing on infant mortality
