RecZone is a new program created by the Recreational Licensed Child Care section of Howard County Recreation and Parks in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was designed to serve working families who were in desperate need of a safe, licensed childcare program to help their children navigate virtual learning. One that would balance the social, physical and emotional well-being of their children and support them during their on-line school and work sessions. The eight RecZone locations have been successfully running since September 8, 2020.
