Plane fun is the latest way that Miami International Airport (MIA) is striving to make the airport as customer-friendly as possible for customers of all ages. Young passengers can now take their airport experience to a whole new level with the opening of Plane Fun, an interactive children’s play area located in Concourse E, post-security. MIA is the first airport to partner with a Children’s museum in the creation of a play area. The focus was to ensure children had a place where they could lean while they were playing. The play area opened on October 13, with students from the school at the Children’s Museum. After the ribbon cutting ceremony the children were able to have some “plane fun”.
