Like so many of our great programs, the idea for the Parkinson’s Support Group came from a community member. At the beginning of 2017, we held a brainstorming session and, with the help of three key community members affected by this disease, we established a support group at the library. The success of this group was surprising. From the very first meeting there has been overwhelming support and attendance ranges from 25-35 people each meeting.
