The Neighborhood outreach grant Program was created to assist neighborhood groups to continue their participation and outreach to residents of Bernalillo County. This grant program promotes collaboration between the County, varied governmental agencies, nonprofits, and residents in essential community-building efforts to enhance Bernalillo County’s uniqueness and the quality of life of its residents. Neighborhood associations play a vital role in strengthening their own neighborhoods. Bernalillo county recognizes that important volunteer efforts that neighborhood association play in developing strong, vibrant neighborhoods and active residents. It is this reason that $100,000 per fiscal year was dedicated to assist associations in furthering their outreach efforts. Grant opportunities include simple grants starting at $500 too large grant funding up to $10,000 to meet the varied needs of associations in both the unincorporated area of the county and within the City of Albuquerque.
