Ensuring Washington County Parks are designed for all current and future users is critical to the success of the park system. Communicating with current and future park users that Washington County Parks are welcoming to all is key to serving the needs of the county’s changing demographics.With the growth in diversity in the Washington County community, county parks staff have responded by adding both written and spoken multi-lingual communication to assure a welcoming atmosphere, as well as one in which every effort is made to assure that park visitors are kept as safe as possible while visiting county parks.
