This mission of the Johnson County Treasurer’s Department is to encourage an entrepreneurial approach to improving service delivery by increasing collaboration and improving government operations. The Line Management Program is an innovative concept which utilizes text messaging, online reservations, and self check-in touch screen monitors to enhance overall customer service and operational capabilities for their Motor Vehicle Division. The Treasurer’s Department views technology as a driver for transforming change, while increasing organizational effectiveness, creating a better customer experience and providing statistical measures used for trend analysis and future forecasting.
