Montgomery Energy Connection is a network of more than thirty County agencies, local organizations, and businesses that work together to help spread the message about home energy efficiency in our community. It is our vision to provide all residents of Montgomery County with user-friendly, energysaving resources that will improve their daily lives, reduce our County’s climate change impacts, and preserve a healthy environment for future generations. The program is comprised of two components: a website and an outreach network. The website is a central hub to provide residents with a comprehensive collection of trusted and unbiased information, envisioned to be a one-top-shop for relevant energy resources. The outreach network goes into the community to provide residents with information where they are – from libraries to breweries to senior centers to grocery stores – we go where people are congregating. The combination of these two resources under the Montgomery Energy Connection program engages residents on energy efficiency, energy conservation, energy assistance, and clean energy topics in an easy-to-understand way that also makes energy efficiency fun!
