Macomb County Register of Deeds real estate record searches are now more useful and reliable due to a new process that verifies Parcel Identification Numbers on all recorded documents. This process creates a tract index, which establishes a chain of title based on the PIN’s. That unifies the land records database for the future and past and makes it possible to search for records by location.
