The Montgomery County, Maryland online internet County contract Search System (ICCS), developed by the County’s Department of Technology Services (DTS) and in collaboration with the Montgomery County Procurement Office of the Department of General Services (DGS), enables County constituents to view public and releasable information portions of County contracts in the internet, and to conduct Metadata searches in order to view or print contract documents. ICCS enhances Government transparency and efficiency by greatly simplifying the access of constituents to information about County contracts and by reducing overall administrative costs associated with this type of contact administration. An internal customer service portal was built for DGS staff to easily navigate to the ICCS Internet (Public Access) Home Page and the associated contract document repository (ZYImage). The administrative application enables designated staff to maintain available documents (i.e. Contract, Amendments, Solicitation, Bid Tabulation, etc.) for each contract.
