Starting November 2012 Suffolk County Veterans Service Agency successfully developed Intergovernmental Collaboration Shared Service Agreements with several local governments in Suffolk County. Through these Agreements we have been able to expand the services provided to our veterans both geographically and in terms of quality of service. Being a very large county area (2,373 total square miles) these Agreements have permitted the effective placement of county Accredited Veterans Service Officers (VSO’s) to locales not previously practical.
