Humanity Matters is an interactive, five-session dialogue series that explores the impact of race, culture, and class in Howard County, Maryland. Participants learned to authentically interact with people from different races and cultures through honest conversations, the sharing of historical and socio-economic data and effective communication skills. For the final session, all 100 participants and 25 facilitators generated a list of tangible items that the County should continue, stop, and start doing to honor the collective humanity of all citizens.
