“At Home with Parks & Recreation” was created out of a necessity to stay connected and provide services to the citizens of Harford County during a pandemic. It utilized the talents of parks and recreation staff to teach the citizens everything from sign language, to crafts, to sports skills, as well as educating individuals about our facilities and our critters at the nature centers. The outcome of the program is exactly what we had hoped; we stayed connected to the public while face-to-face interaction was not possible.
