Over the last seven years workplace violence incidents have increased by 57% in the United States, according to the US Department of Labor. The Health and Human Services Agency, in alignment with Live Well San Diego, created a Workplace Security training video to proactively give employees the tools to make quick life-saving decisions in the event of an emergency. This online training teaches employees what to do in the various emergency situations that might occur, and the differences between a shelter in place, lockdown and lockout.“I really appreciated the layout of the training; the video was straightforward without being too intense with the dangers it conveys. Well done!” HHSA Employee 8/6/19.
