In 2020, Harvest Gwinnett built three community gardens and had six more under construction in Gwinnett County, Georgia, parks, and had planted 20 acres of food forests at 19 parks. The projects connect community members through hands-on environmental education, while planting fresh produce to improve food access, and nurturing engagement opportunities that improve health outcomes. Related programs connect the community to services, classes on healthy lifestyles, and social opportunities.
