The Maricopa County Senior and Adult Services Division of the Human Services Department (HSD) provide case management to approximately 6,000 aging and disabled community members on an annual basis. Utilizing the Human Services Case Management application (HSD Online), the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET) developed a Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping application utilized by HSD management and employees to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness of case workers who serve this community on a daily basis. The implementation of the GIS Case Management Workflow provided an immediate positive impact on the responsiveness of service delivery, saving over 1,100 hours of manual data entry annually
