Salt Lake County Animal Services created a community-oriented program, the Free Feline Fix, to help the public keep their animals healthy and happy. Since its inception 2015, this program has provided free or low cost spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchips to over 880 owned cats in the community. This program has helped decrease the homeless cat population in our shelters and will continue to help the community bring the feral cat population under control.
