About the Program

Year: 2017

Broward County’s Records, Taxes and Treasury Division (RTT) is successfully providing, to seven Broward County municipalities, the capability of electronically recording (e-recording) all allowable document types using a program called Applause. This is a major expansion of a service offered previously on a limited basis at one County location for electronically filing Notice of Commencement documents. This allows Broward County municipalities Lauderhill, Coral Springs, Miramar, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Davie, and Hollywood, to electronically send documents to the County without having to make physical trips to the Governmental Center, saving time, money, and continuing with our environmentally-friendly ‘Go Green’ initiatives. This also makes the process faster than the standard time it would take via regular mail.
