Broward County provides a comprehensive benefits program to approximately 5,200 benefit-eligible employees. The Employee Benefits Educational Roadshow was developed to promote, educate and help employees understand the vast array of benefits included and offered through employment with the County. In addition to educating employees on how to utilize their benefits wisely and efficiently, the goal was to promote employee and family wellness and personal responsibility and to educate employees on available tools and resources that will ultimately help them become better consumers of their healthcare.
