The Charlotte County Community Services Recreation Division created the Youth Sports Council in response to community needs and to efficiently provide excellent service to our member youth sports organizations. The division developed the YSC to enhance the quality of life and provide accessible growth opportunities to Charlotte County’s youth, and more specifically to allow Charlotte County to work with community partners by providing free or reduced cost access to facilities, promotion and marketing of programs, mentoring and consistent high quality guidance to ensure the survival of the youth sports opportunities that are vital to a vibrant community.
