The Center for Continuous Learning (CCL) program is a partnership of the County’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Office of Human Resources (OHR).The CCL’s mission is to provide learning opportunities to support the growth of a more integrated and culturally sensitive network of social, mental and public health services to the residents of Montgomery County.OHR maintains responsibility for the CCL program and is approved and authorized by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners (MBSWE) and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to provide continuing education credits. OHR and DHHS adhere to the continuing education standards for the MBSWE and the NBCC.These programs ensure that DHHS clinical care providers can maintain their educational requirements for certification and licensure and effectively serve the diverse needs of the residents in Montgomery County. Additional program outcomes include increased collaboration, shared resources, expanded program offerings, cost savings, enhanced staff knowledge, and networking with professionals in the field of Health and Human Services.
