Miami-Dade County’s collection accounts are handled by 17 collection specialists who receive credit card and check payments over the phone. Checks are also received via postal service. With collections expected to surpass seven (7) million dollars this year, and in order to facilitate the payment process, a new Credit and Collection Online Payment application was developed, to allow our residents to pay for their credit and collection delinquent balances via the Internet, utilizing a credit card or eChecks.
