Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer Montgomery County, OH Population: 535,059 Montgomery County Solid Waste District, through its Keep Montgomery County Beautiful program, receives numerous requests for supplies to assist with community cleanup projects. Officials created the Community Pride Cleanup Supply Trailer (CPCST) in order to meet the demands of larger volunteer groups looking to do more extensive cleanups and beautification projects. This 24â trailer is stocked with lawn and landscaping equipment to assist volunteers with removing debris and help with beautification efforts. This trailer has been used to bring neighbors out and into the community throughout the county in an effort to keep Montgomery County beautiful through beautification projects and litter cleanups. Montgomery County delivers and picks up the trailer from the designated project area and allows it to stay out overnight for weekend or multiple day efforts. The CPCST is a resource that helps volunteers take responsibility for their neighborhoods and gives them what they need to improve not only the physical appearance of the community but also improve morale and attempt to lower crime rates. Between 2009 and 2011, there has been a 123% increase in the number of volunteers associated with projects completed utilizing the CPCST.
