The Montgomery Floyd Regional Library is an important community center for opportunities that complement educational activities for children and teens and that satisfy lifelong learning interests for adults in Montgomery County. Through its collection, online resources, programs and services, the Library seeks to promote interest in, and understanding of, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), as well as to promote history and the arts. Beginning in September 2012, the Christiansburg Branch Library introduced a series of programs called Celebrating Science and Art that provided STEM learning experiences for all ages and included an acclaimed artist and professor, local teachers and instructors, and a NASA traveling exhibit titled Here, There, and Everywhere.
