To automate the time-consuming and tedious processes of copying content, migrating data, and uploading documents to an expensive commercial open budget platform, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) developed an in-house CAPITAL OPEN BUDGET application for the Capital Budget and Capital Improvements Program (CIP). This self-publishing website leverages the in-house developed CIP-BASIS budget management system to instantly display data, maps, and content in a clear and concise fashion.
