Launched in March 2016, Boulder County Connect (BCC) is an innovative web-based portal for clients working with Boulder County Housing & Human Services (HHS) to use to manage all support services, learn about other supports, and to connect with staff members with questions or to ask for help. Clients can also use the portal to organize the documents they need to provide and then upload them directly to the system â this in particular is a valuable service which allows clients to skip the journey to an office. The BCC portal has a "live chat" function for clients to get quick information directly from the county call center staff. There is also information housed on the portal about services provided by partner organizations in the community. Boulder County Connect is helping HHS become a more effective provider of health, housing, and human services supports by helping remove barriers to those supports and by putting more control into the hands of our community members. Since its launch, BCC has had nearly 2,000 clients sign up to use the platform. This more person-centered approach is undergirding a stronger, healthier, and more empowered Boulder County community and represents the best in public service.
