Texas statute requires the County Auditor to submit financial reports to the District Judges of the county. The Auditor’s Office ‐ District Judges Portal, launched on May 28, 2009, is an intranet based resource designed as an efficient tool to provide the District Judges with an electronic gateway to restricted and secure online access to an array of information including these financial reports, the Harris County Auditor’s Office annual budget request, audit reports, and other requested and helpful documents and information prepared by the Auditor’s Office, while at the same time saving the Auditor’s Office costs associated with issuing such documents in hard copy. The District Judges access the site’s content at their convenience.
