The Transit Call Center integration to the 311 Answering Center for Miami-Dade County was an integral element in fulfilling the county’s vision of a single direct line to local government services and is part of Miami-Dade’ strategic goals and objectives are the guiding principles used to develop the plan to move Transit Information towards an enterprise-wide service to the residents through a single point of contact, 311. The objectives of this integration support providing a fast, simple, and convenient single access point for residents to obtain information and request services from their local government, inclusive of transit related information.
