The Macomb County Clerk's ''Senior Hotline'' is a senior advocacy program that helps Macomb County’s aging population navigate through Clerk’s Office services and assists them in finding other resources dedicated to area seniors.Finding a way to access public sector services or filling out a complicated application form (often in small type) can sometimes be a daunting task. The “Senior Hotline’ program makes it easier for Macomb County seniors to connect with services and get the personalized attention they deserve.Through the use of traditional phone service, web-based assistance, satellite locations, community outreach, and even in-home visits, the Macomb County Clerk's ''Senior Hotline'' program has helped fill the gap in providing good County service.According to Fred Miller, Macomb County Clerk and Register of Deeds, “Macomb County is living longer and getting older, which is great news. Public services must respond accordingly and do everything we can to support seniors living independently and ‘age in place.’”
