Julia Mattingly

Julia is the associate legislative director for health on NACo's government affairs team. In this role, Julia serves as the liaison to NACo's Health Policy Steering Committee. Julia advocates directly to federal partners in the Administration and on Capitol Hill to advance policy priorities on issues such as health insurance coverage, workforce, behavioral health services, crisis care, as well as key health issues for the nation's rural communities. Julia previously worked in the U.S. House of Representatives handling health issues. Julia received her Bachelor's Degree from University of Louisville, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Public Policy at George Washington University.
