Counties own and operate public safety water conveyances, stormwater municipal separate stormwater sewer systems (MS4), green infrastructure construction and maintenance projects, water reuse and infrastructure, and emergency management readiness. As counties decide whether to use their State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) allocations for investments in clean water, drinking water and stormwater infrastructure, resources like this webinar series can provide insight into alternative funding streams that are currently available to local governments. For more information on water and sewer infrastructure projects that are eligible under the SLFRF, view this NACo Webinar and the NACo Recovery Fund FAQs.
