The hardest thing I’ve ever done is: Presented the American flag to my grandmother during my grandfather’s military burial.

You’d be surprised to learn: I am a U.S. Navy veteran.

The most adventurous thing I’ve ever done is: Join the Navy.

My favorite quote is:  “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” — Eleanor Roosevelt

My favorite way to relax is to: Do yoga or read a book and enjoy a glass of wine.

I’m most proud of: My daughter, Alexis, who is a senior in high school.

Every morning I read: News from every source I can.

My pet peeve is: People who don’t say please or thank you.

The last book I read was: Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

My favorite music: Everything

My county is a NACo member because: Of the access to high-level officials and the communications that have opened up doors for our county to make important differences on the federal and state level.
